  • What does Eligo mean?
    • ELIGO (Latin): "to choose"
      Choose it to enhance your recreation. Choose it to dominate your competition. But either way, the choice is yours.

  • How to puncture your EligoElectrolyte cartridge?
    • The cartridge must first be attached to the bite valve. This is accomplished with a 1/4 turn of the cartridge (you should hear a click). Once attached, depress the plastic circular part of the bite valve that is exposed. This step punctures the cartridge. Once punctured, the electrolyte is ready for consumption.

  • Proper Maintenance
    • Just like all other hydration systems on the market, the best way to care for your product is to clean it and dry it after every use. This is where if you purchased your Eligo Spile w/ Reservoir, you can take advantage of the unique reversible reservoir designed to aid in cleaning.

      To clean the valve, disconnect the drink tube connector from the reservoir and remove the silicone bite valve from the housing. Continue disassembly by removing the front cap, plastic valve body, and silicone tube. Flush all components, including drinking tube and connector, with hot soapy tap water. Once flushed, allow components to fully dry before reassembly. Note: Tube can be hung to help facilitate drying.

  • How to adjust and/or remove the drinking tube?
    • Make all adjustments to the reservoir end of the drinking tube. To remove the tube from the connector, soak the tube and connector in hot water for 5 to 10 minutes. This should soften the plastic enough to remove the connector. Repeat the process to reattach the connector.

  • Eligo Lifetime Warranty
    • Eligo products are warranted to be free of defects in material and workmanship for the lifetime of the product.

       

      If any defect in Eligo parts or workmanship is discovered and Eligo is notified and is otherwise not limited by the terms of this warranty, Eligo shall, at its sole election, either (a) repair the defective part, (b) replace the defective part, or (c) reimburse the customer for the purchase price of the defective part. Warranty does not cover damage caused by normal wear and tear, improper maintenance or cleaning, non-standard usage or negligence. Product must be purchased from an authorized Eligo dealer.

       

      How to make a claim under Warranty

       

      Contact Eligo directly through our website and a representative will be in contact with you to resolve any problems covered by this warranty. 

  • Can I microwave my valve?
    • Please do NOT microwave your Eligo Spile. The valve contains metal components that are not microwave safe and will create quite the show.  

  • What do I do if my reservoir doesn’t have a coupler to plug into?
    • The best way to ensure compatibility is to purchase the Eligo Spile w/ Reservoir.

       

      However, if you aren’t ready to part with your existing reservoir, no worries. You may be able retrofit it with a few simple steps.

       

      Barbed Fitting Retrofit

       

      NOTE: Drinking tubes must have the same internal diameter (1/4”) for this retrofit to work.

       

      Separate the drinking tube from your existing reservoir barb fitting. If the drinking tube doesn’t separate easily, soak the drinking tube and barb fitting in hot water for 5 to 10 minutes. This should soften the plastic enough to remove the drinking tube. Repeat steps to remove the connector from the reservoir end of your Eligo Spile drinking tube. Attach Eligo Spile drinking tube directly to your existing reservoir. If the drinking tube does not slide on easily, repeat hot water soak process. If connection leaks, remove drinking tube, cut approximately 1” of tubing off the end, and reattach.

  • What is the supplied length of tube?
    • The Eligo Spile comes with 36” of tubing. 

  • What payment methods can I use?
    • We accept Visa, MasterCard, and American Express. 

  • How is sales tax determined for my order?
    • The standard tax rate for Santa Clara County will be applied to all orders within Cailfornia.

  • Do you offer returns?
    • Returns are accepted within 14 days of the delivery date on all unopened product. Product must be free from visible signs of wear and/or use, subject to inspection. Shipping costs are non-refundable. All returns are to be sent to our e-commerce warehouse.

  • I purchased your product on Ebay. Is it authentic?
    • The only way to be sure you are not purchasing counterfeit product is to shop on our website or purchase from an authorized dealer. .

  • Do you offer sponsorships?
    • At this time we will be offering a limited number of sponsorships throughout the year to athletes who share our passion about the product and can help us strengthen our brand. We encourage you to reach out if you feel like you and/or your team may be a good fit.

  • When will my order process and how long will shipping take?
    • All in stock items will be processed and shipped within two (2) business days of your order being submitted and will ship USPS Priority Mail (3-5 days in the US, based on the distance to destination). You will receive a confirmation email once your order has shipped, which will include your tracking number and a link so that you can track your order.

  • Do you ship internationally?
    • Unfortunately, we do not offer international shipping at this time. Please check back shortly, as this is something we intend to offer in the near future.
